Mañana mañana
Dad recommended a Swedish restaurant to us tonight and it seemed like a good idea when all the Spanish ones only seems to serve pizza, pasta and salad.
We took the car to the restaurant called “Svensken på hörnet” (Swede on the corner) who changed name to “S1″. They we’re full but recomended “S2″ (no this is not a joke) a little bit further down. Same kind of restaurant with Swedish staff and a nice menu. This means that we now have three Sweidhs restaurants in walking distance (yes we are lazy and took the car) from the apartment. The restaurants also seems to be popular when we saw them send away a lot of guests because they we’re full.
The food was ok even though the fish we had as main course could have been a little bit better, to much sauce. As I just started to cough and and sputter because of one of the fishbones got stuck in my throat Cicci informed me that the fish contained bones. It took me five minutes to reply “I know that NOW”. Ha ha ha!
The kids were great at the restaurant. With one Ipod each they were maintained during the hours we spent there
Spanish people are strange. This is a fact. 60 year old people are bitter and yells as soon as they get the opportunity. If someone blocks the sidewalk, if someone takes to long paying in the supermarket or maybe if they think you drive to fast even though you’re under the speed limit. Yes they yell, show you the hand…
They cannot drive…AT ALL. They haven’t learned what the signs are for. They don’t care if they are the ones who should stop or if they have precedence or not. This is something we’ve learned since we started to drive around ourselves. Yesterday one girl almost ran into us on the parking lot outside the supermarket. As she got nervous she backed her car into another one and left it with a big bump. She didn’t care about it and just left the parking lot a few minutes after. Today Casper learned what the “bad finger” is for. A guy almost ran into the car as he was leaving his parking spot and out in the way. When I didn’t immediately threw myself at the brake and instead went by him he started to horn at me and Cicci horned back (even though I was driving). When he also put on the full light on his car we had enough, pulled down both front windows and showed him the finger and said “TOMTE” (like idiot in Swedish but actually means Santa…popular word around poker players). Casper of course wanted to know what the finger meant and instead of lying we told him but he now also knows that he cannot never, ever use it without me getting angry.
We just finished a backgammon session (like every single night and day since we arrived). Tomorrow we don’t have anything planned yet. Might be a trip to Murcia at night and sun during the day…who knows we’re on vacation *s*. Casper also got a little bit burned in the sun today so I want him to take it easy in the sun tomorrow (even though he doesn’t seem to be bothered at all).
Time for bed. GNGN.

Bronchitis
Went to the doctor today after nine days of nightmare. It started bad, became better after a few days on Nyquil+Dayquil but as soon as I quit with those I got even more ill than before. The doctor explained that the pills I took was more to take the symptoms away than to cure me. Ok, lesson number one…drugs in the US might not be as good as I thought they were
With me going to Spain on Wednesday I wasn’t happy to hear that I had to take antibiotics for ten days. I explained to the doctor but his very bad Swedish resulted in a interesting discussion…
Me: I need antibiotics I can be in the sun with.
Doctor: Yes you can.
Me: Ok so I can eat them and be out in the sun?
Doctor: Just take the pills and then you can go out in the sun as much as you like.
Me: But I’m leaving to Spain on Wednesday and will be in the sun every day.
Doctor: You can eat the pills and then have a vacation after.
Me: No because this trip is planned on Wednesday. I can’t change it.
Doctor: Hmm ok. I prescribe you pills you can be in the sun with.
Me: Thanks!
Except for seeing the doctor me and mom made major improvements on my apartment today. I love it! All the things I wasn’t happy about is gone. We threw so much stuff, a lot of furniture’s and redecorated a lot. Only a few things left to do when I come back, most of it I will have someone else taken care of. I’m so happy I have my mom. She does all the stuff for me that a boyfriend would take care of. Stuff I would never do like drilling in the walls. Even though I have the drill and everything else a handy man need I don’t like the drilling part. I put together furniture’s from IKEA, I sew, I paint…but the drilling is not something I will never ever do and always something I made my exes do. I could do the painting myself in the living room, done it myself in my old apartments but not this time. To lazy. I will make him repaint all the doors too

Cas will be so happy about his new bed with Simpson’s all over it
Off to bed…midnight and SO tired. Been up since 5:28 this morning….

Home sweet home
Back in Sweden and it’s sooooo nice even though I still have the very bad cold and it seems even worse since I came home. Maybe it’s because the pills I took in Vegas only took the symptoms away rather than curing the actual infection. Now I’m on Swedish pills instead and every morning is spend coughing for like half an hour before I’m even able to talk or do anything else.
The weekend I’ve spend with my family and a few friends. Friday I came home, went straight to grandma to say hi to her and to eat Swedish healthy breakfast. Came home in the afternoon and then my mom came over to help me fix with all the furniture dad left here. She left at four in the afternoon and the plan was to sleep an hour before heading to Kim and Fredrik but I slept to six in the morning.
On saturday I went over to pick up Casper at his fathers place. The three of us went to do some shopping in Farsta and to get Casper a haircut. The evening was spent at my mom’s place with the whole family. So nice to meet them all.
Today I woke up at six again, or actually 5:58 (exact same time as yesterday). Casper didn’t wake up before 11. At noon we had brunch with Lasse at my favorite brunch place in Stockholm; Hotel Anglais. Very, very, very nice. Spent like three hours in town before heading back to suburbia where the destination was my uncle for a little while and then Kim&Fredrik. Bbq at K&F like most of the times I go there in the summer. I love the fact that I now live so close, right across the street. My uncles place is like 300 meters and they have a pool. Also very, very nice in the summer *s*.
On Wednesday we leave to Spain and I doubt I will have time to write anything more here before…very busy days the next two.
Some pics…

Give me drugs!
Felt really ill when I went to bed yesterday but that was nothing to the kind of illness i felt when I woke up. Whenever I get a cold it always gets to my brain membrane for some. Two years ago I was in a hospital for five days before they finally understood what was wrong with me. Apparently some people get their cold viruses in their ears, some in their eyes I get it in the brain and it sucks bad time because it makes me dizzy and I wasn’t even able to go to the bathroom without almost fainting.
I’m heading down to the little shop here at Palms to get some Nyquil which I will take as soon as the ME is done otherwise I will fall asleep before it is.
I have a lot of fun to tell but no energy to do it…I’m glad I was able to post the stuff I did today for PS and that’s enough. Cross my fingers I feel better tomorrow. Last day here with Cicci.

Dinner at Okada
Yesterday we were 22 people having dinner at Okada. Very nice but way too much food. Also a lot of drinks of course. Very nice the whole night. After the dinner we went to Tryst and partied all night long.
At Mad’s room at the moment working. Very lazy day and no inspiration at all. Might go out tonight but no plans yet. Five more days before I’m back in Sweden. Will be sooo nice!
To tired to write…a lot of pics on FB and in all the other blogs

What happens in Vegas…
ONE week!!!!! It’s one week before I will sleep in my own bed again, drive my own car, eat my own home made meals, visit my lovely family and my friends…most important ONE week left before I can hug my beautiful little ghost. Casper I miss you BAAAAAD! I’m so proud because since I left he learned how to swim and he learned to bicycle. Only home for five days though…the 23rd me and Cicci are taking the kids down to Spain (I guess I already mentioned this earlier).
Vegas so far have been ups and downs. Some days have been really hard. Being at Rio every dag for six weeks (not entire six weeks, had some days not going there before work) have been exhausting and the last couple of days I’ve had no enthusiasm and no inspiration. I’m so glad that I have a few people here who really keeps me up when the days are bad such as Cicci and Mad. Two great girls who I would do anything for.
Party wise it have been insane. The few days we’ve been out have been crazy as hell. Me, Cicci and William in combination is LOL. I love it though, William is also a great friend and a person who really keeps me up if I feel sad or down. Tomorrow there’s a BIG party, a little bit of a secret party only for special guests at a friends place on one of the best hotels in Vegas. Will be great I think but this time me and Cicci have an agreement to NOT drink or at least only two drinks or something because the stuff that happens when we get drunk is tooo much *s*.
We’ve spent the last two days playing cashgames at the hotel. I’m down after some suckouts but hey that’s poker and I mostly played because it’s fun to do something…
I will have SO much stuff to get back home. Not only will I have to buy a new suitcase. I also have a stroller for Kim and Fredrik with me on the plane.
Bah baj…time to sleeeeeep! xxx
